“Industry 2023” National Industry Exhibition organized in collaboration with the Ministry of industries, Industrial Development Board, other institutions operating under the Ministry of Industries, and private sector, to strengthen local industries to create an export central economy. This event was commenced at the BMICH premises on 22nd June, 2023 under the patronage of the Prime Minister, Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena. Industry Exhibition 2023 was held for four consecutive days with huge success. This massive exhibition featured more than 700 exhibitors, representing 21 sectors, connecting micro, small, medium and large scale industries covering the entire industries in Sri Lanka.

This national industry exhibition has created opportunity to: inspire industries; introduce new technology; encourage innovation; merge domestic and international entrepreneurs, suppliers and buyers; and formed a bigger space for new industries in Sri Lanka. Also, this event has given opportunity to increase young and women entrepreneurship while increasing the demand for value added products of Sri Lankan market.
